Welcome to the shiny new Indiana Library Jobs website! This is an offshoot of a project that I started at my personal site Explore the Stacks. Unfortunately the job listings were becoming so numerous that they were drowning out everything else at that site and I quickly realized that a more dedicated site was needed.
The premise for this site is simple. There are jobs to be had in Indiana libraries but there isn’t a truly comprehensive listing out there on the web. So this is my way of using some of my web design skills to give back to the professional community in the state by creating a regularly updated jobs board that briefly summarizes the important details of sometimes lengthy job postings.
I draw these listings from a variety of sources on the web but mostly from checking individual library site’s hiring pages to see if they’re looking. If you’re a hiring manager and would like to see your job listed on the site send an email to indianalibraryjobs at gmail dot com and I’ll be happy to put it up.
