Job Title: Systems and Web Librarian
Requirements: ALA accredited MLS or Masters in computer science or equivalent; basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced ability to create web pages with HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP scripting with appealing graphic design; ability to program with languages such as: C++, Java, Perl, Python, Ruby; administering and troubleshooting experience with a proxy, A to Z lists, link resolvers and digital resources including databases, discovery tools, etc.; at least 2 years of experience administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting an integrated library system or similar networked operating system; experience using Adobe Creative Suite to create and modify graphics files for the web and for print; working experience with a content management system; working knowledge of both desktop and mobile web technologies, architecture, and user interface design; experience in applying Web accessibility standards and user-centered design principles; experience with database and server administration such as SQL
Preferred Qualifications: Recent systems and web development experience in libraries; supervisory experience; reference experience
